History of Topshop
Topshop began life in the basement of department store Peter Robinson in the 1960s and originally sold clothes from other designers, such as inventor of the mini-skirt Mary Quant. Topshop quickly acquired a reputation for selling high fashion to the new hip generation. By the 1970s, independent Topshop stores began appearing throughout the UK. The brother brand of Topshop, Topman, was launched in the 1980s. Today, Topshop has 500 shops around the world, 300 of which are in the UK, as well as online stores in a number of countries including the UK.
The Topshop student discount is one of the best on the high-street: simply present your NUS card at the till or enter your code online to get 10% off your order, every time you shop. Topshop voucher codes are fairly rare, but signing up to the email newsletter is the best way to find out about them. If you’re a diehard fan, registering for the Topshop card is a smart option. With it, you receive a 15% off voucher in your first statement, a free delivery voucher and a special treat on your birthday!
